Once every year at the BFMA (Broadcast, Film and Music Africa), young film-makers and content developers come together from all branches of Africa’s booming creative arts and digital media industry including Content Providers; Script Writers, Innovators and Professionals from TV, Radio, Film, Music, Mobile Tech, Telecoms, Advertising, Animation and Gaming, Regulators, Academics, Policy Makers, and other industry professionals.

This year’s BFMA is the 8th since its inception The two days, red carpet programme themed “The Digital Edge: Encounter, exchange” shall take a two-pronged approach: Knowledge sharing through a power packed conference with panel discussions and workshops, experience sharing through amazing forums at the expo area. These experiences will feature the young film-makers and content developers marketplace, an innovators pavilion, a music pavilion, a gaming pavilion hosted by the Animation Artistes’ association, and a networking hub.

We are partnering with AITEC for this year’s BFMA conference to be held at The Kenya National Theatre, from 23rd – 24th November 2016.  Over the two days programme, a few of the discussion points that will be covered will include: the ROFFEKE festival video preview and an artistes’ rights forum.
