We have been to Kisumu, Bungoma, Nakuru, and Nyeri and our quest to take training workshops to various counties in Kenya is not about to end any time soon. We aim to cover all the Kenyan counties in our Counties Training and Outreach Program.
We are now taking the Blogging and Social Media training to the second largest City in Kenya, Mombasa. This training will focus on the following topics:
• Becoming a better blogger
• Basics of Blogging and Social media
• Writing skills and readership
• Personal online branding
• Social media ethics
• Understanding copyright
Come armed to learn all there is to know about blogging, how to improve your writing skills, understanding your readership and the ethics to apply while engaging others on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc, among other important Blogging and Social Media lessons.
The training which will mostly be hands-on will run on Saturday, 1st August at Muslim Education & Welfare Association (MEWA) Library, behind Masjid Mousa – along Mwabundu road next to MEWA Hospital, Mombasa starting from 8.30am to 2pm. It will culminate in the launch of the Jukumu Letu initiative there after.
You are encouraged to come with your laptops in order to get the full training experience and to take advantage of the free internet that will be provided.
